Thailand defeated Indonesia in their semis game last Friday with only a three-point margin, 65-62, that will send the hometeam down to a battle for bronze with Malaysia this afternoon.
It can be remembered that the Philippines Sinag Pilipinas team crushed Thailand, 103-69, in a group stage game earlier this week which means that the nationals have a greater chance of winning the gold.
But as everyone would always say, the ball is round so the Filipino cagers should not take the Thais for granted.
